The Morrigan. The Morrigan is a complex figure from Celtic mythology, associated with fate, battle, and sovereignty. She is often depicted as a triple goddess, with three distinct aspects: Badb, Macha, and Nemain. She is sometimes referred to as the goddess of war, but she is also associated with prophecy, healing, and transformation.

In Irish mythology, she is said to have been a goddess of sovereignty, with the power to grant or withhold kingship. She was also believed to be a shape-shifter, able to take the form of various birds and animals.

In legend, The Morrigan protected the Tuatha de Danaan with a cover of fog and rain so that their boats could land upon the shore of Ireland.

She is often portrayed as a fierce and fearsome figure, who could be both helpful and destructive to humans. She was said to appear on battlefields, inspiring warriors to fight or foretelling their deaths. She was also believed to have the power to heal and transform, and was sometimes associated with the land and the cycles of nature.
