Text in card:

Circe, a prominent figure in Greek mythology, is often depicted as a powerful sorceress or witch. She is renowned for her vast knowledge of potions and herbs. According to myth, Circe resided on the island of Aeaea, where she practiced her sorcery.

One of her most famous appearances is in Homer's "Odyssey." When Odysseus and his crew arrive at her island, Circe uses her magical powers to turn his men into pigs, thus revealing their true nature. However, Odysseus, protected by the herb moly given to him by the god Hermes, confronts Circe and demands his men be returned to their human forms. Impressed by his resilience and aided by Hermes' magic, Odysseus resists her powers. Circe and Odysseus eventually become lovers, and she helps him on his journey home by offering invaluable advice and guidance.

Circe is often portrayed as a complex character embodying both the benevolent and malevolent aspects of the divine feminine. She represents the archetype of the enchantress in Greek mythology, a figure both feared and admired for her deep, mystical knowledge and her capacity to transform. Her story intertwines themes of magic, transformation, and the intricate relationships between gods and mortals.

May this amulet be your ally in unveiling truths and unmasking illusions. Let it sharpen your intuition and guide your steps with clarity, embodying Circe's mastery over enchantment and transformation. In her empowering embrace, may you discover the magic that lies within you, the strength to resist deception, and the wisdom to use your gifts wisely. May Circe's protective aura surround you, offering insight and discernment, and igniting the latent sorcery of your spirit to create, to change, and to thrive in a world full of wonders and mysteries.
