Hypholoma fasciculare commonly known as the sulphur tuft or clustered woodlover is a common woodland mushroom which is widespread and abundant in northern Europe and North America.

This fungus grows prolifically in large clumps on stumps dead roots or rotting trunks of broadleaved trees. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin word fascicularis which means 'in bundles' or 'clustered' referring to its habit of growing in clumps.

Hypholoma fasciculare is toxic. In humans symptoms may be delayed for 5–10 hours after consumption after which time there may be diarrhea nausea vomiting collapse paralysis and impaired vision. ?? /// Alrighty done with the poisonous mushrooms! ?? I still want to do more mushrooms also ones that arent toxic. There are so many cool ones out there! Next I'll do a plant series so if you have any suggestions perhaps plants/herbs/flowers with an interesting lore please do help a girl out! ?? I hope you are all doing good! ???
